iPhone Free App Of The Day - Whiteboard: Collaborative Drawing

Whiteboard: Collaborative Drawing

If you’re looking for an app to lose some time on, and have someone else in on the action then Whiteboard might be for you. It’s a painting app, that gives you a blank canvas that you can paint on. There are other art apps out there, but Whiteboard allows for two people to paint on the same canvas at once over Wi-Fi. There aren’t a whole lot of options in terms of effects, but the two person painting should keep you busy. There are a few bugs that need to be worked out, but for free I definitely recommend it.

Mac Chrome Isn’t Close To Being Done; But There’s Progress

As the PC owning world got to enjoy Google Chrome when it released some months ago, Mac users were left out to dry. I’ve used Google Chrome, and while it’s nice, I can tell you that there’s nothing worth getting up in arms about yet.

However, according to Mac Chrome blogger, Mike Pinkerton, Mac Chrome is shaping up nicely. They’ve actually opened multi-tab web pages (YAY!), which apparently is a big deal in the web browser creation process.

Of course, Pinkerton didn’t drop a release date, but did provide some screenshots of the browser’s progress.

Apple’s iTunes Replay Could Have You Stream All Over The Place

With iTunes 8 looming on the horizon, there could be one feature coming with it that some of you might be ecstatic about. The service is called, ‘iTunes Replay’ and could be the next big leap in video streaming technology.

For anyone who downloads a large amount of video for iTunes, knows that memory space gets eaten up rather quickly. Apple looks to remedy this problem, if this report is true. iTunes Replay is a streaming service that will allow you to build a video collection without ever having to physically download the media. If iTunes Replay is on its way, this would allow you to access your video files anywhere, anytime.

There are scarce details at this point, and no official confirmation. The biggest question is how much will the service cost, if Apple decides to implement iTunes Replay.

This is quite an ambitious feature that Apple has concocted. This will greatly enhance the functionality of Apple TV, and will provide iPhone, and iPod Touch users with much more space. Before we all get too excited though, let’s wait until Apple gives us a confirm.

iPhone App Of The Day - Wobble Anything 3D

Wobble Anything 3D

Wobble Anything 3D has quite an interesting history behind it. It started out as iBoobs, which of course never made it onto the actual iPhone. The clever developers behind that app took a shortcut around, and created what I think is even a more interesting app, Wobble Anything 3D. The spirit of iBoobs is still there, but with this app you can make anything wobble, and jiggle. Just upload a picture, set your wobble points, and have fun from there. It’s a useless, yet fun app which is why I recommend it at the safe prices of $0.99.
