Steve Jobs will lead analysts and the media through some non-iPhone, non-iPod related product announcements, which the entire blogosphere expects to be the next iteration of the iMac.

Engadget will be live blogging the event so hard you’ll feel every reporter’s gasp of shock and awe.

They and everyone else will have to wait until 1 pm Eastern, 10 am Pacific, for the Apple polishers to get on with the show. Even money seems to be on a new iMac, with brushed aluminum and possibly the most frightening keyboard ever making its debut today.

UPDATE: Yup, they’re brushed aluminum. And they went with the scary RSI keyboards too.
