iPhone App Of The Day - Creative Whack Pack

Creative Whack Pack

Sometimes it can be tough to be creative. You have so many things to worry about, that taking the time to think outside of the box just isn’t in the cards. Luckily you can have your own deck of cards working for you. The app is called Creative Whack Pack. It’s based on the popular card based creative enhancer. It’s kind of steep at $4.99, but if you’re having trouble thinking creatively then the Whack Pack can help. The proof is in their logo; is that a question mark or a phoenix?

iPhone App Of The Day - MLB.com At Bat 2009

MLB at Bat 2009

Spring is here, and that marks the start of one of my favorite times of year, Baseball season. The only thing that’s tough about Baseball is keeping track of all the games. The day games are tought to catch because of work. At night, there’s a chance your team might not even be on TV. With the MLB.com At Bat App (ugh half rhymes), you can keep up with all the games throughout the year. There’s stat tracking, live game updates with visual markers for ball and strikes. Also, with your $9.99 you’ll be able to listen in on live audio, which is generally more on other sites. With this you’ll be able to listen anywhere.

iPhone Free App Of The Day - SnapTell

SnapTell

Today’s app is just as useful as it is cool, and interesting. Simply take a picture of a book, DVD, game, and you’ll get back a description and links to numerous sites where the item is featured. I’ve tested it on numerous items, and it works really well. I’ve had to get really obscure to find something that it wouldn’t return a listing for.

iPhone App Of The Day - Light

Light App

I’ve been on a photo manipulation kick these past couple of days. Earlier in the week, I posted ColorSplash as app of the day. Today’s app acts as a good supplement, and combined with ColorSplash brings you one step closer to have Photoshop on your iPhone. With Light you can add a large number of lighting effects to your photos. Change the brightness, blurring, light position, and many other settings.

iPhone App Of The Day - ColorSplash

ColorSplash

If you’re someone who is never content with a picture, and always has to manipulate it then ColorSplash might be an app you want to look into. After my playthrough with it, it’s basically a mini-Photoshop only with very limited features. If you’ve used the desaturation tool in Photoshop then you’ll have an idea how ColorSplash works. Basically you take a photo, and you convert bits of the picture to black-and-white. The parts you want left amplified, you leave in color. It leaves a very cool effect, and is quite easy to use.
