Safari 3.1 will also use a bookmark system, akin to the interface of iTunes. Your search window, and bookmark window will all be accessible without going into any other menus. You will also be able to import all of your bookmarks on your other browsers, if you decide to make the switch.

Are you visiting some sites, that you don’t want your mom, wife, or anyone else to know about? Well, then Safari offers “private browsing”, which will stop the browser from storing cookies, history, or Google history.

The release of the iPhone’s SDK is now official. Earlier today, Apple released all the details that developer’s have anxiously been awaiting. iPhone users can go ahead and look forward to many applications and games that are being made for the iPhone.

The kit uses the same program and interface that Apple uses for its’ own applications. Cocoa Touch is a source code that developers will use in order for touch screen to be available for their programs. A modified version of X Code will be used to write the programs, which proves the rumors about the kits being Mac exclusive true, as X Code comes with Mac OS X. An iPhone simulator has been released so that the developers can test their programs while creating them.

iPhone users who are anxiously waiting for the applications to start pouring in, can already look forward to a few that were announced. Even though the iPhone is compatible for use on PCs or Macs, it has been speculated that the only developers using Macs will be able to create software for the iPhone.

Apple Says “No” To Flash, Sort Of

Yesterday was the shareholders meeting for Apple. Many different strategies, and ideas were presented by Jobs and other key figures for Apple. One interesting piece of information was about the iPhone and Flash support for it.

According to Steve Jobs there is no time frame for Flash Support on the iPhone, so anxious iPhone users shouldn’t start holding their breath. Jobs explains that the current Flash application used by cell phones isn’t powerful enough for what the iPhone is capable of. What he wants is Flash that is on par with the likes of what you see on notebooks and desktops.

Jobs explains about the current Flash problem with cell phones, “There’s this missing product in the middle…It just doesn’t exist”

It looks as though Jobs’ strategy is to hold out and hope that Flash will release a specific application for the iPhone. As of now, Adobe hasn’t made any announcements as it pertains to a special iPhone Flash application.

The two companies have butted heads in the past, with Adobe showing Apple the shaft for some of its’ products. While Apple changed some of its’ products to slow down Adobe applications. Let’s hope for the consumer’s sake that they can get past this bitter past and do what’s best for the iPhone users.
