New Screenshots of Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6) Build

For those who can’t get enough Snow Leopard new, today is your lucky day. Keeping up with Snow Leopard can be a tricky endeavor. Considering most of what Snow Leopard is improving upon is ‘underneath’. So, performance and energy consistency are improved but there’s not much that can be shown.

WorldofApple has found some visible enhancements though, and has been kind enough to post some of them on their site. Along with a video. I’ll put a couple of the bigger improvements here. If you want to see the full list, just click the link above.

iPhone Free App Of The Day – 1Password

1Password

1Password is a program that alleviates one of my biggest problems going on the internet, passwords. Pretty much anything online requires a password. For some of your more important accounts, it’s usually a good idea to switch up your password from others. This makes it to where you have memorize more passwords then your brain cares to register. With 1Password, you only have to remember your password once, and that’s when you’re putting it into this program. It will not only store your password, but log you into the site that the password is associated with.

iPhone Free App Of The Day – Pandora Radio

Pandora Radio

If you’ve never visited Pandora, you’ve really got to check it out. It’s pretty much a personalized radio station that you listen to over your computer. You don’t get to hand pick songs, but you put in an artist or song and it will feed back similar artists and tunes. With Pandora Radio, you can experience this same thing on your iPhone. I’ve found Pandora to be a great way to find new music you’ve never heard, and discover new bands.

iPhone Free App Of The Day – Shazam

Shazam

Shazam is probably the coolest App that I’ve posted on FreeMacBlog so far. The app acts like a virtual music library, and for the most part works very well. What Shazam does is help you identify songs simply by having the program listen to it. If you happen to hear a song on the TV, then open up Shazam and put your iPhone up to the speaker. Most of the time the song is in the database for Shazam. I tried it on 15 songs, and 13 of them were identifiable, some which were pretty underground selections.

iPhone App Of The Day – Voice Broadcast

Voice Broadcast

This handy app is a cool way to send a message out to a different number of people. Basically, the Voice Broadcast app will record a message that you provide. Then you can send that message to any number of recipients that you want. You can set it up to be sent out at a future time, or even send reminders to yourself.

You’ll have to sign up for a Ifbyphone account. They have a 100 minute package that is free, but you’ll have to pay for more minutes. The app itself is free, so you can download it whenever you want
