"is there any express card that acts like RAM?"

I am also after something along those lines, or even one that replaces the media drive.
Something with a several GB for pagefile\temp\recent\cache\browser files, etc would be an excellent way to speed up general use.

While RAM Disks are an option, they are a bit of a hassle and are not available at boot.

A Good SSD to replace the HDD will have to do for now.

@ 29
When the Magma Expressbox supports high end video cards and Express slots support more PCIe lanes it will be awesome. They would be great for our work laptops as we require as much graphics power as possible.

I think I'd also buy one for home.

Same as Pete above I have the DR-25 card but it crashes the MAC everytime I insert it, which in my book makes it rubbish. I have a good friend who has the Delkin card and thats faultless... I should have spent my money more wisely.

It seems not much is being done with the ExpressCard 34 slot. I miss my PCMCIA slots. All of my old adapters are useless to me now.

Will there be an ExpressCard 34 display mini adaptor for the new Mac LED monitors?

I want one of the new LED monitors but realized that it is only setup for the Late 2008 and later models. I bought in early 08 and majorly bummed. I would spend the $899 for the new monitor but Apple left me out in the cold on an interface.

If they build an ExpressCard 34 interface I would be all over it. Anybody heard anything??????
