iPhone SDK Downloads Reach 100,000

It has been four days since the official unveiling of the iPhone SDK. Developers were amazed by the capabilities demonstrated by the SDK, from the likes of Spore, and Super Monkey Ball.

This amazement has turned into some serious numbers for Apple. Since its’ release, the SDK as seen 100,000 downloads from Apple’s servers. The video of the conference has already received nearly 1,000,000 views since they made the video public.

It’s not perplexing to see why the SDK has seen so much success at this early stage. If you were to see Spore on the iPhone, and then after seeing it realized it only took EA two weeks to develop, you’d know why developers are already downloading.

On top of what looks to be an easy to use SDK, there is the $100 million fund invested by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers to aspiring iPhone developers.
