Mac Server Series: Enabling SSH On Your Mac Server

In this video tutorial, I was you thru how to enable and use ssh on your colocated mac server. It’s an easy process, and this is a short tutorial, but it really opens the door for controlling your Mac in a very powerful way.
If you are new to using Terminal, or Unix in general, you might consider keeping an eye on FreeMacUnix.com. Richard has started from the very beginning in his explanations on how to use Unix on your Mac.

I enjoy your server series, but each time I struggle to find the download file link. I know it’s there, but I’m blowed if I can see it.
Please, please make the link to download the file more obvious for those of us who seem to have a blind spot.
Thanks.

If you can’t be bothered to watch the video (thanks for it btw, it’s just what I needed)…
Start System Preferences (Mac key+space, system preferences)
Click Sharing in the Networking category
Check the box by Remote Login
That’s it! Now you can ssh into your machine.
