New iMac still runs the old Tiger

Since OS X Leopard will likely be a $129 upgrade for anyone who buys a Mac before the update hits the shelves, don’t be taken in by the sweet song of the new iMac.
Steve Jobs may think of it as the most incredible desktop computer Apple has ever birthed. You’ll want to curb your enthusiasm for buying one for a few weeks unless you want to kick some extra cash Apple’s way in October.
SiliconRepublic noted how the new machines will ship with Tiger, rather than “the Leopard OS X, with what Apple claims are over 300 new innovations.”
Tiger still carries a single-user price of $129. I can’t see Apple discounting that price tag when Leopard arrives.
