Ridiculous Jerry Seinfeld/Microsoft Ad Campaign

If anyone watched the Redskins/NY Giants game last night, you got to see the first Jerry Seinfeld led Microsoft commercial. It was actually worse than I thought it was going to be. Which is saying a lot considering I thought it would be awful. I mean is this really all they could come up with?…

I’m not even a huge fan of the Mac ads, as I actually think Justin Long is more annoying than the PC guy. Compared to Jerry Seinfeld’s ad, the Mac advertisements look Academy Award winning.

Is this for real? I mean, I know Seinfield’s humor can be hit or miss, but that was just painful.

Sheesh, MS should have have just stuffed the $10 million in a retail box of Vista and told people it was like a lottery. Pick the right box and you win!

Then Vista would have sold like mad!

  2. David Blomstrom Says:

This ad isn’t witty or informative, but it is funny - in the same sense that news that Bill Gates’ friend George W. Bush drove his car over a cliff would be funny.

Bill Gates has long been perceived as being on the fringe of normalcy, if not sanity. I think this ad officially makes him IT’s equivalent of Michael Jackson.
