Apple announced today that the iPod Shuffle will be growing in size. The shuffle in the past came with just one standard capacity, 1GB. Apple will now be offering double that, with a 2 GB iPod will be on the market by the end of this month.
The physical size of the iPod Shuffle will not change. It will still be offered in the five standard colors of silver, blue, green, purple, and red. The 2 GB Shuffle will retail at $69 while the 1 GB Shuffle will be lowered to $49.
