It looks like its around $80 but I just want to see if their are an hidden fees or text messaging fees. Im looking to get the lowest level data plan as well.
I've heard that there are a lot of perks to jail breaking your iPhone. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because it voids the warranty. Can anybody tell me some of the perks to doing this? I've also heard that once you jailbreak your iPhone you can reset it to un-jail break mode and that they can't detect it in the store if you go to get it replaced. Is this true? And if it is can anybody show me how to reverse a jail break?

I'm curious because I was thinking about buying an iPhone. Also, do you have to buy the internet package when buying the iPhone? If you don't have the internet package, can you get online whenever you have a Wi-Fi connection? Or would it be better to buy an iPod Touch and a cheaper phone?

Grandma Linda says: I couldn't figure out what I would use MacJournal for, and then I remembered all my good intentions of creating a garden journal. I still forget to put in the entries, (what's in bloom, weather etc) but it has been very helpful for lists: I have lists of all the perennials I have purchased for the last two years, where I got them and how much they cost. This is important since I now have 38 varietes of Lilies, 22 different peonies, etc. My next effort will be to catalog all the plants in my 15 gardens!

Then I moved on to making lists of other things to remember: I have company over for dinner quite often, so I list the date and the menu that I served so that I don't always serve the same meal to the same guests.

Maybe not as interesting as journaling my thoughts, feelings etc., but very useful to aid my memory.

I have tried out a few different freeware journaling apps, and my favorite is <a href="http://journler.phildow.net/" rel="nofollow">Journaler</a>. It's very clean and slick, but has some great features like Collections (smart folders) and media integration (audio, photos, movies, etc).

If only I were as good as you at remembering to put entries in...

Cool aritcle indeed. I use MacJournal for to record thoughts, feelings, and experiences pertaining to my life and love life. I update it about every 3 days. Very useful and easy to use. Not a steap learning curve at all on the initial use. It has auto-save too (I'm notorious for forgetting that).

Cool article. I've been trying to the same for about a year now, and though I suck at updating my daily Journal as often as I should, MacJournal has become one of the first five apps I install on my Mac.

MacJournal has become my little private Tome Of Knowledge. Since you can select text or html from any app and create a new entry in MacJournal containing that selection (including formatting, but it screws up html layout sometimes), it's easy to create your own database of little facts, cool quotes, interesting articles (since it indexes your journal file, it's easy to find stuff you know you put in there) and all that goodness.

Just Spreading The Word. Now, on to QuickSilver .. ;)
